Hesitation only results in lost opportunities

Mr South Africa 2013 is an opportunity that came to me at a very unexpected time. I remember clearly when this year started out I had set goals forth for myself, I had plans. What where the plans? I was working on a reality tv show pitch for Megalomatrix and an Anti-Steroid campaign, my mind was constantly planning and then all of a sudden I get a text in the middle of the night. I couldn't believe it, Mr SA 2013 was already far ahead and running and how is it possible that I'm entered at such a time. My mind was rushing, heart beating with excitement and confusion, I didn't know what to do. I called my buddy/manager Chris Mocks and Kg, they told me to calm down this is a good sign. After that call I realized something in life, we fear of things we don't know, we fear to lose, to be a failure in front of many masses. That was my fear. I had already seen that most guys are 500-1000 votes ahead of me and I was still on 0 votes. I feared I would try my best but I wouldn't make it that far. I feared that the task we are given to test our marketing skills, I would not accomplish because firstly I have never dedicated my self to sales and marketing. I'm a IT guy, I'm an entertainer. Yes I'm smart, but did I know I had such limits? I only discovered such a limitation now, but I did not hesitate. I asked myself why should I fear what other people think and will say about me if I fail? Why should I value myself lesser than I already have?

Sometimes we don't understand the fundamental value that lies deep within ourselves. We are not different to the famous people we praise, such as musicians , actors, entrepreneurs and directors etc. those people found the diamond inside them, they realized the value and it's worth and they explored it. To succeed you must always compromise and have a plan, be an opportunist and aim for the target. Even if I don't make it to the top 40, I know something will come out of it. The time and effort spend will only show us that we are capable of achieving more. Preparations without weighed risks are for armatures, that's what I think. One needs to be quick and counter every opportunity that passes as quick a blink.

My journey so far.

Lately I have been reaching throughout the airwaves of Mafikeng, I was doing a short brief Mafikeng Fm telephonic radio interview to reach out to people and let them know what's happening and they must know that there is such a person that is me. The interview went well and it gave me a little of exposure, I must say I was a bit nervous thou. Immediately after a few days, I was also interviewed by Lukhanji fm from back home in Eastern Cape. I needed to let people back home to know that there is one of theirs going all out to make the proud and noticed. Home, there is too much value but most people tend to waste it, I needed to bring back the hope in their lives. That there are greater areas in life that one can challenge. Before I can reach out to people all over the nation, you must start home, home is where it all began and it's where belief starts. So I'm currently going under an interview with one of the journalist of the Rep newspaper, a local newspaper back home, and I will be telling my story and urging my people to vote for me and give me courage to do more.

Last week I was invited to a book launch "7 ways of understanding women", it was a very successful launch indeed, brilliant guest speakers that brought new knowledge to heart n mind. I soon leant that life is about forever learning and feeding the mind. We need to understand the opposite sex in order to create a wealthy relationship. I can urge people to purchase such a book should they come across it. Il probably post a link as to how you can get it.

This week is I'll start reaching out to the rest of the nation.I have big plans set out for next week.

Events that will blow you away, as I said I'm not limiting myself anymore. To be Mr SA is not to win the competition but to represent your country!

Guru for Mr South Africa 2013: Who am I?

Who am I? That I cannot answer but I can tell you what I want to be and through that road I can discover myself. One cannot sit down and depict who they are, they represent simply buy their action and the path the have chosen. I am a man with vision, a man who entered Mr South Africa for a reason. To win is easy but to live up to other people's expectations is another, but do we have to follow by someone else's script? I don't think so. If I win, I will love by my own script because I have a reason, I entered for a reason. I won't sit here and write and use the same old lines and tell you I want to make a difference, I want to do this and that for the people. Instead I will sit here and I will write and tell you what I can offer without telling who I am. Does who I am really matter? It's possible. I am the guy that can offer you a better perspective towards living by example, I can show you that anything is possible and through that there is hope. The previous Mr South Africa's are not my real concern, I respect them but they had their chance and they wrote their life's story. Now it's time for a change, people are looking for a created sophisticated mind that can impact their lives by just being who they are, not by being Mr South Africa rather then being themselves and let the title be a background. Lets talk about a man with a vision and a plan, what are the first requirements of building ur dreams house? Isn't you must first have a plan inside your head of how you want it to look like, call it using u imagination if you like but u design the first design in your head. Then what? You must draw a floor plan with the right measurements, isn't it? Once u done u locate a perfect location to plant ur first brick. From there you start building your house through thorough planning and measuring. How's that saying go. Measure twice cut once. Just imagine if you woke up one day and you said I want a house like this, and you went ahead with out planning it through ur head first. Just imagine how many times you will be I'm that house re-adjusting measurement and you would be spending double the amount of money. So lets see, can we apply that same method in life, what does a 24 year old like me know so much? That how you plan life, you must have a design inside your head, you plan life as if you where building your dream house, through every stepping stone your achieve to the next level until the day you find yourself on top. You must think this guy has it all figured outmoded he must have a plan for Mr South Africa 2013 competition. Well I will tell you this I have a plan and taking part in Mr South Africa is part of the plan, I have the will to inspire so many minds that cannot break the barrier of dependence, people who are sticking to the script need to wake up and realize life has no script. The books we read are written by authors just like us, so why can't you write your own? 

Enough about my philosophical thoughts, currently I'm running an Anti - Steroid campaign, what is this campaign about? This campaign is all about showing the youth and those they look up to that a body can accomplish so much without the abuse of illegal supplements. Take a look at my body....

You won't believe how far iv come through will and determination, all life requires from you is effort. That's why in every shortcut there's a bad turn. If I can accomplish such results why can you? Look at our rugby stars, our athletes and sport entertainers, they are simply encouraging a steroid dependent future. These kids will feel hopeless, and so many people are trying to justify the use of steroid to have good. I offer help, I offer the way to teach these kid, because the future is far more important than the present, the presence is there for the opportunity of creating a better future. Let steroids be the past, lets build strong minds. Lets teach kids how powerful a mind is. Lets teach them that not even your teacher can break down your spirit. Speaking about teachers my English teacher said I'd be nothing simply because I failed grammar. But here I am, and I have your reading my article, did care about my grammar? That's besides the point, the Anti-Steroid campaign is there to show you that nothing is impossible if u just put in some effort. Would you feel better if you broke the world record without the help of any sort of illegal supplement? I bet you would.

I myself and my team will be carrying out this Anti-Steroid campaign through out this competition, Mr South Africa is only the beginning. It may start with Mr South Africa 2013 but it sure wont end with it. I am contestant and feel honored to take part in such a prestigious competition where all our strengths and weaknesses are tested. The support I will get from you, will be simply be because you believe in inspiration and you believe in who you think am or what I am capable of. What I can tell you, the person who you think I am right now is who I am. I am a man with a vision and a plan, and I have a heart of a winner.
